Hello! I'm Naina, a Malagasy tour guide, passionate about my country and eager to share its wonders with travelers. Here's what you'll discover with me:

Discovering Culture and History:

As a guide, I have in-depth knowledge of Madagascar's history, from its origins to contemporary events, including its customs and traditions. I can explain the different Malagasy ethnic groups, their languages, beliefs, and the foreign influences (French, Arab, Indian, Chinese, etc.) that have shaped the island.

I'll share my passion for biodiversity with you:

Despite the island's relatively small size, Madagascar is one of the world's greatest biodiversity hotspots. As a Malagasy tour guide, I know the national parks, endemic species (such as lemurs, fossas, and chameleons), and the island's unique flora. I know how to convey the importance of environmental preservation and can guide visitors on hikes through the mountains, rainforests, and beaches. Knowledge of tourist sites: The guide is familiar with the various tourist sites, from idyllic beaches like those of Nosy Be and mountains like Isalo to traditional villages. They can also introduce lesser-known, off-the-beaten-path locations, depending on the group's interests, such as local markets, private reserves, or remote areas where traditions are still very much alive.

A welcoming and hospitable nature:

Hospitality is a fundamental value in Madagascar. The guide is often warm, welcoming, and ready to share anecdotes, local stories, and Malagasy legends. Interaction with locals is often part of the tourist experience, and the guide plays a key role in connecting visitors with local communities. Sustainable tourism practices: The guide is committed to responsible tourism and sustainable practices. They ensure that travelers respect the environment, local cultures, and the principles of ethical tourism. It can also recommend local initiatives, such as conservation projects or community businesses that support local populations.
